If you know Coach Lex he is always in the gym. If he is not competing in leagues throughout Virginia or coaching AAU games, he is training middle school, high school, and collegiate players in the area with several who have earned scholarships to play in the NCAA or post graduate programs. He has been able to pass down his experience to motivated boys and girls players in the DMV area for 4 years. Coach Lex believes that “you have to get better on the days you would like to and on the days you do not. Getting better is not an option; it is a necessary outcome if you are going to get in the gym and train. The great players love the process. Coach was a member of the University of Mary Washington Men’s basketball team that went to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history in 2003.Coach Lex has played professional basketball in Dominican Republic.
