Justin played his high school career at Penn Valley Area High School (Spring Mills, PA) where he was a four-year starting point guard (first in school history). He captained his senior year squad to a school record 20-4, two of those four loses to the eventual state champion by a combined 14 points. He left his high school as the all-time leader in assists and eighth in scoring.
After high school Justin continued his basketball career at Penn College. He played one year at the Division III school, coming off the bench as its second leading scorer. After his freshman year, Justin was asked to walk on at Pennsylvania State University (Penn State, University Park, PA), but ultimately was unable to play due to an ACL injury. His college career high was 21 points against Bucknell University. Justin continued his education at South Hills School of Business and Technology, earning a degree in Business Marketing and Management.
Since college, Justin has been coaching for eleven years. He has served as assistant and head Jr. High coach at Penns Valley High School and Bellefonte High School (Bellefonte, PA). At Bellefonte, he was assistant coach for the girls varsity District 6 Championship season. The team finished in the top four for the Pennsylvania State Championship.
Justin now offers team clinics/academies as well as individual trainings as a Skills Coach for Pure Sweat Basketball.
