Tyler is currently a Professional Skills Coach for Pure Sweat Basketball. He personally trains around 80+ athletes from 4th grade to college level from around the Four Rivers area. Tyler played 4 years at St. Francis Borgia where he was able to win a State Championship in 2009 as a junior. He was also able to help lead the Knights through an undefeated regular season and a streak of 58 straight wins before falling in the State Championship his Senior Season. Tyler was an all-state performer his junior and senior campaigns before moving on to Lindenwood University on a full-ride scholarship. He also competed at the highest competitive basketball level while in high school with St. Louis Gateway. Tyler traveled across the country with select teams from the 5th grade through his senior year.
At Lindenwood University, Tyler was able to establish himself as one of the best shooters in the MIAA. The MIAA, arguably the top basketball and football division 2 conference, is comprised of schools such as Central Missouri, Northwest University, Fort Hays State, and Pittsburg State. Tyler ended his career at Lindenwood with many school records. He is 3rd all time in 3-point attempts and makes. Tyler is 2nd all-time in points scored in a single game with 41. He is also the all-time leader in free-throws attempted and made in a single game with 21 and 24 respectively.
